Teresa Bleux was born into a jazz family of singers and musicians and as a child, she and her two brothers were hauled to clubs and jam sessions to hear the great players that were trouping through Indianapolis.  While she was mainly influenced by R&B while growing up, she became consumed with learning the timing and feel of singing jazz and writing compositions. Teresa has worked on several albums, writing the lyrics and melodies that exhibit her inherited ‘phrase-ology’.  She has had several vocal coaches including legendary Mark Murphy and was heavily influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, and Barbara Streisand. Her smooth silky voice delivers great dynamics gliding effortlessly up and down the scale, while being easy to listen to for hours.
